In addition to a strong Management Team, QSMI is supported by an Advisory Board comprised of independent business leaders who bring expertise in a variety of disciplines relevant to the Company’s strategic mission, objectives and daily operations. Their council and vision provide the outside perspectives critical to help guide QSMI through the continuous evolution of the Defense and Federal Industry.

Lisa Rosenthal

CEO, Mayvin, Inc.

Lisa is the CEO and co-founder of Mayvin, a woman-owned small business established in 2008 focused on technical and knowledge-based services supporting defense, intelligence and federal civilian government customers. She supports the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association Small Business and Education Subcommittee, the National Board of Directors for Women in Defense HORIZONS Scholarship, STEM, and Academia Director, and the American Health Education Center Network Board of Directors. Lisa proudly served on the American University (AU) Alumni Board of Directors and the AU Entrepreneurship Council, and serves as a judge for the Kogod Case Competition and the George Washington Business Plan Competition. 

Lisa is a seasoned leader and business developer providing start up, development and launch of a small business in a dynamic defense industry environment. In less than 4 years, her team doubled the firm’s revenues annually making the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing firms 3 years in a row. She brings significant government and commercial experience managing a broad spectrum of tasks, functions, processes, and systems from concept to implementation. Lisa is recognized for strong leadership skills and facilitating organizational change, as well as developing strategies for significant business decisions. The Advisory Board benefits from her proven leadership that achieves high levels of productivity and efficiency in very diverse and fluid environments.

Ronald S. Perlman

Partner, Holland & Knight

Ron is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Holland & Knight where he is a member of the Government Contracts Practice Group. He was elected to the Board of Directors for the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), and serves as Vice-Chair of the Small Business Division and as Chair of the Defense Manufacturing Communications Committee of the Manufacturing Division of NDIA. Ron is a Fellow of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).

​Ron brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Advisory Board. After serving with the government (the Air Force and then the General Services Administration) for the commencement of his career, he has represented both large and small companies in contract negotiations, claims, disputes and protests. He has experience at the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Government Accountability Office and various boards and courts. His practice of government contract counseling and litigation work includes experience with many federal agencies, including: the Department of Defense (Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard and Navy), Departments of Commerce, Energy, Transportation, Labor, Justice, Housing and Urban Development, Veterans Affairs, Federal Aviation Association, Social Security Administration, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Small Business Administration and the U.S. Postal Service.
